*A month later*
I parked the bike and Glacies and I both got off, removing our helmets. I looked at her and smiled as I saw how beautiful she was looking.
‘You really look amazing,’ I said as I reached for her hand. She smiled as I twirled her around.
She was wearing a beautiful icy-blue dress that was made of two parts. The top was like a crop top with long sleeves. The skirt was high waisted, covering her belly button but leaving a thin line of her skin showing. The colour was especially eye-catching but even more so because it reflected her name, after all, glacies meant ice.
‘Well, you look pretty stunning yourself,’ she said with a giggle. I looked at my attire which was a beautiful, black jumpsuit. Like her, I had my sword strapped to my back.
‘You know, it’s kind of funny. We’re heading in to a wedding with swords on our backs,’ I said, laughing a little.
‘Well you never know what might happen babe,’ she said with a wink as we started walking towards the beach. I could not help but smile a little at how beautifully decorated it was.
‘This is so pretty but I’m quite sure it wasn’t Umbra designing this place,’ I said, laughing a little as I took in the white ribbons, bows and flowers.
‘It wasn’t,’ I heard a familiar voice say as we both turn around to find Jimin there. ‘It was actually my sister Minji and Myung. They wanted her to have something special,’ he said.
‘Well she certainly deserves it. Did they manage to convince her to get a dress?’ I asked, a smile on my face while Jimin smiled.
‘She looks amazing but let’s say it’s not the traditional ball gown,’ he said just as Namjoon walked in with Myung and Logan. While Myung found her place, Namjoon came towards us along with Yoongi.
‘Everything okay for tonight?’ he asked. I nodded as I knew he was not talking about the wedding ceremony but rather security.
Weddings tend to gather a lot of people in the same place, making it easier for enemies to attack. Bangtan is all too familiar with it. EXO had attacked during a wedding and killed Namjoon’s father, the bride and groom and some other guests. It had started an all out war until Jackson proposed a truce.
‘Everything should be in order. Scarlets are present around the whole area and some are covering from higher positions,’ I explained.
‘Same with Bangtan members. Jackson also offered that GOT7 will help if anything comes up,’ Yoongi said as Namjoon nodded.
Anyone could clearly tell he was anxious as sweat gathered on his forehead. He nodded once more as he bit on his bottom lip. He kept looking around worriedly and I could not help but feel bad for him. He lost family before and even if we live in this kind of world every day, the trauma does not leave.
‘Everything is going to be okay. They would have to be insane to attack here when they know there is the whole of Bangtan and the Scarlets here, working together,’ I said, trying to reassure him.
‘I know but I can’t help but worry. We thought they would be crazy to attack us back then too,’ he said. ‘But this time it is different. We should find our places,’ he said and I nodded.
I looked over at Glacies and took her hand in mine as we went to sit down next to Taehyung who smiled at us. ‘You both look fantastic. Adamantem, is she the girlfriend you were telling us about?’ Taehyung asked with a wink which made me laugh.
‘I certainly hope I’m the only one you’ve been talking about,’ Glacies said, which forced me to roll my eyes.
‘Oh come on babe. You know you’re the only one for me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have stayed with you for over two years,’ I responded back. Taehyung laughed while she smiled as well.
‘Well it’s a pleasure to meet you,’ Taehyung said as he did a little bow and she curtsied.
‘The pleasure is mine Mr. Kim,’ she said with a smile to which he shook his head.
‘Call me Taehyung. We’re practically family,’ he said with another laugh before he hopped away towards Seokjin.
‘He seems nice,’ she said turning to look at me and I nodded.
‘He is but he can also be quite intimidating when someone thinks they can do them wrong,’ I replied. Before we could continue talking, everyone got in place as we saw the first car arrive.
We watched as Hoseok made his way out of it. I had to admit, he looked quite handsome in his white tuxedo. There’s always something attractive about a man well dressed. Yet, the most alluring thing about him was his smile that seemed to reflect the sun.
I could not help but smile as I saw his brothers hugging him before they went into place. A second car came into view and Yeonjun walked in another beautiful white tux. He opened the door and Hanuel walked out.
I cold not help but scoff a little but smile as well. Her outfit was one of a kind – a mixture between her usual and dainty. It had a sort of tight corset but with long sleeves and straight, wide pants that had a piece of material that seemed to create a back skirt.
I looked at Hoseok who was smiling even wider as he saw her. He was not surprised by her choice. I turned to look back at her as she walked down the aisle. She reached Hoseok and smiled at him before she handed her sword to Yeonjun.
‘That was quite beautiful,’ Glacies commented as we both stayed on the beach, in our corner while everyone danced and had fun.
I looked at Hanuel as she danced and laughed in a way I never saw her do before. She looked like a completely different person. If Hoseok seemed to reflect the sun, Hanuel looked as if she was the sun today.
‘I am really happy to see her like this. She had suffered a lot because although obedient, there were times she was defiant,’ I said.
‘I know baby. I was there too. I hated it when she used to get punished just because she spoke up. I guess she’s the person who gave me the courage to defy the Scarlets but in a more discreet way,’ she said and I nodded.
‘Vindictae thought we were doing her bidding when in fact we were doing what we were supposed to do. Saving people and eliminating the scum,’ I said and she nodded.
‘Hey baby?’ she asked as I hummed in response. ‘Do you want to get out of here for a while?’ she asked.
‘I thought you’d never ask. There’s a cave, not far from here. I can tell you and show you exactly how sexy I think you look tonight,’ I said with a wink.
She giggled as she stood up and pulled me with her. ‘What are you waiting for then?’ she asked, with a teasing tone. I kissed her and smiled.
‘Damn I love you baby,’ I said as I kissed her again before I took her by the arm with me.
Hanuel
Hoseok and I took a break from dancing as we both headed to sit down for a while. ‘Seems like you two are having fun,’ Myung said with a smile.
‘We are,’ I said as Hoseok took my hand in his, squeezing it lightly.
‘You certainly are. I don’t remember the last time I saw Hoseok here dance like that,’ Yoongi said, teasing him. Hoseok rolled his eyes as he playfully hit him back.
My eyes fell on a figure in the distance. I smiled as I recognized her. I could not believe she would come here. ‘Excuse me, I’ll be right back,’ I said.
Hoseok nodded as he leaned over for a kiss before he let me go. I hurried to her and hugged her. ‘Hello precious,’ Ae-Cha said.
‘I can’t believe you came,’ I said as I looked around. ‘What if someone sees you?’ I asked, feeling a certain amount of paranoia.
‘Don’t worry. Wonho is waiting for me right there,’ she said pointing to further away. I nodded, still slightly afraid. ‘Besides, I was not going to miss my favourite girl’s wedding,’ she said, laughing.
‘I’m really happy to see you,’ I said as she held my hand. I saw her look at the ring on my finger and I could not help but smile.
‘He always had a good sense of fashion and choice,’ she said smiling. ‘You look absolutely gorgeous tonight and I was right, he really is head over heels for you,’ Ae-Cha said.
‘I guess he is,’ I said as I turned to look slightly at him. I saw her nod to herself as I turned to look at her.
‘I’m really glad to see both of you so happy,’ she said. ‘Anyways, I brought you a gift,’ she said as she pulled out a small box.
‘Aish you didn’t have to,’ I said but she shook her head and opened the box, revealing a beautiful bracelet. I gasped as she took it out, ready to place it around my hand. ‘This was given to me by mother. It’s one of the few things I managed to take with me,’ I said.
‘I cannot take this Ae-Cha,’ I said but she shook her head and made sure to close it. She put her hand over it and smiled.
‘I want you to have it. Her best friend had given it to her on her wedding and I want to give it to you on yours. I want to wish you a long, happy life with Hoseok,’ she said.
I felt myself get teary eyed as she pulled me into a hug. ‘Thank you,’ I said as she rubbed my back.
‘Always,’ she replied as she pulled away from the hug. She looked at me once more before she smiled. ‘I got to go. Enjoy your wedding,’ she said with a wink. I waved at her as I watched her hurry away.
She disappeared out of sight but I could not get myself to move yet. Suddenly, I felt arms wrapping around from behind me. I smiled as I let myself relax in his arms.
‘Everything okay my love?’ he asked as he kissed at my neck. I nodded as he gave another kiss.
‘Everything is perfect yeobo,’ I said. He pulled back as he turned me around and stared at me with a wide smile.
‘Yeobo? I liked the sound of that,’ he said as he crashed his lips against mine. I laughed in the kiss as I nodded.
‘Good, because you’ll be hearing it a lot, yeobo,’ I said, repeating the word again to tease him. He bit his lower lip as he came closer to me.
‘Stop teasing you or tonight you’ll get punished,’ he said with a wink. I laughed and hit him on the chest.
‘Careful yeobo, you might be the one getting punished,’ I said with a wink of my own. He laughed as he pulled me closer to him.
‘God I love you Hanuel,’ he said as he rested his forehead against mine.
‘I love you too Hoseok. Today, tomorrow and forever more,’ I said as I kissed him.
